ATLANTA (September 2, 2026) — Hunter Advisors (Hunter) announced the sale of the Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel, a 196-room hotel located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Spencer Davidson, Senior Vice President at Hunter, brokered the transaction, with Chicago-based Witness Investment acquiring the property.
“This transaction reflects continued investor confidence in recently built, brand-affiliated hotels in strong secondary markets, and the Renaissance Milwaukee West offers a rare combination of modern construction, prime location, and long-term upside,” said Davidson.
Built in 2020 and located at 2300 North Mayfair Road, the 12-story, AAA Four Diamond hotel sits adjacent to Mayfair Mall, Wisconsin’s largest mixed-use shopping destination, and offers institutional-quality accommodations designed to serve corporate, medical, leisure and event travelers. The property features approximately 9,864 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, the ELDR+RIME Restaurant, the Silhouette Lobby Lounge, and a 12th-floor fitness center.

Nearby Mayfair Mall spans 1.2 million square feet and attracts approximately 4 million annual visitors, complemented by the dining, retail, and residential offerings of the Mayfair Collection. The area is poised for further growth, with more than $500 million in planned development adjacent to the hotel, including a new Scheels flagship store and more than 400 Class A residential units at Mayfair Mall. The hotel also benefits from proximity to the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center, one of Wisconsin’s largest medical consortiums.
