NEW YORK (August 13, 2026) — Hunter Advisors (Hunter) announced the sale of the Hyatt Regency Long Island, a 358-room, full-service hotel located in Hauppauge, New York. The transaction was brokered by Sophia Pittaluga, Senior Vice President at Hunter, who represented the buyer. Ashford Hospitality Trust was the seller.
Located at 1717 Motor Parkway, the Hyatt Regency Long Island features 358 rooms and suites, approximately 18,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, multiple dining outlets, indoor and seasonal outdoor pools, a fitness center and recreational amenities. The hotel is adjacent to the 18-hole Wind Watch Golf & Country Club.

The hotel is located near the Long Island Innovation Park at Hauppauge, one of the region’s largest employment centers, and offers access to major regional highways, Long Island MacArthur Airport and the Long Island Rail Road’s Ronkonkoma station. The property also serves leisure demand generated by Long Island’s North Shore communities, beaches, wineries, golf courses and other regional attractions.
